This resource is an informative, visual and descriptive infographic by Fifth Tribe focused in ISIS’s use of Twitter. The infographic and descriptions in the article were written following the Paris attacks in November 2015. The descriptions outline a numbers of focus areas, including ISIS content for recruitment, content for its enemies, sophisticated division of labor, ineffective responses, and concludes with some recommendations for the big data community, technologists, creatives, and digital strategists in dealing with the ISIS threat.
This resource will be of use to PVE researchers and practitioners interested in ISIS’s digital strategy and use of social media platforms, and Twitter in particular. The infographic and article provide some informative insights from a new technology agency that focuses on digital branding, web/mobile apps, and digital marketing.
